Chinese male iPhone lovers have received a reasonable offer allowing them to earn money for the new Apple product.
The solution is quite creative and comes from a bank, the sperm bank, The Guardian reports.
Chinese men are encouraged to donate sperm to earn money for the brand news iPhone 6S. The ad goes as follows: “No need to sell a kidney … Shanghai sperm bank can make your iPhone 6S dream come true.”
The kidney reference is made to a long-time incident when a 17-year-old boy sold his kidney on the black market to buy and iPad and an iPhone.
The Shanghai Sperm Bank promises 6,000 yuan (approximately $940) for 17 millilitres of the donor’s semen. Not everyone’s sperm is accepted, though. A donor should qualify by complying with the following parameters: university educated, disease-free and over 5 foot 5.
The bank spokesman disclosed the campaign had been effective so far. Chinese social media users have, however, divided on matter.
While some are excited with the move, the others condemn the embarrassing situation caused by Apple mania.
